Dating violence middle school lesson plans
Students are first introduced to the key concepts surrounding teen dating violence.
Each team is responsible for researching their topic, writing their own informational content, locating graphics and background images, and coding the material into HTML.
This video may be downloaded and watched on the internet, or you may pay .50 for shipping for a hard copy of the video.
You may pick one up at the Sandy Police Department for free. If you are in a controlled dating relationship or know someone who is, find the courage to get the help you need to get out and stay out.
"Dating Violence Detectives" Estimated Time of Completion: Four or five 50-minute periods I. (Note: limiting each team to one Web page will make it easier to link them together into a cohesive site.) One group will also be responsible for creating the homepage and navigation bar.
Divide the class into teams that will each create one page apiece for one or more of the topics discussed.
In Part I of the lesson, participants read and discuss a scenario about a sexually active couple; in Part II they learn about methods of birth control.
